2018 World Cup Highlights

Here are the official highlights of the 2018 Over-50s Cricket World Cup, held in Sydney.

This highlights package includes action from all 8 teams, although only Wales and New Zealand took any significant video footage, so those 2 teams feature more prominently.

For the 2020 World Cup in Cape Town, all matches will be live-streamed.

Wales were the only team in Sydney to live-stream their games. Here are highlights from their match against New Zealand. 

Wales scored 153, which New Zealand chased down for the loss of 2 wickets.

The Welsh side live-streamed all of its World Cup matches. All of their matches are shown below, in their entirety.

Sydney World Cup Director Stirling Hamman's private ground in Mandalong, north of Sydney, has attracted quite a bit of attention since it hosted the World Cup match between Australia and Wales. Here are two separate TV pieces on Stirling and his ground, one by the "Sunrise" show and one by the ABC. You can also read about Stirling's ground on our Media page.

The Welsh are justifiably famous for their singing and they treated their opponents to rousing renditions of their anthem before each game. 

Here they spontaneously break into song while posing for their team photo at the Opening Ceremony.
