The next IMC Over-50s World Cup will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on February 9-23, 2025.IMC Over-50s Chairman Jim Morrison made the announcement today: "Following discussions with Sri Lanka Cricket, the Tournament Director, Sena Seneviratne, has confirmed the dates for the IMC Over-50s World Cup. The tournament will be held at top grounds in and around Colombo. It will be an amazing two weeks of highly competitive cricket, following the highly successful World Cup in Cape Town in 2023.The IMC are delighted that the Over-50s World Cup is coming to Sri Lanka. Here is the Australian Over-50s squad for their England tour in June and July.Among other matches, this tour will see the current World Champions (England) take on the recent Quad Series champions (Australia), so those matches should be very exciting to follow. The Over-50s International (O50I) career stats have been updated to include the recent Quad Series in New Zealand and two tour matches between Masters Cricket USA and Australian Over 50s CricketNotable milestones include:* Steve Mace (Australia) became the second batsman to score 1000 runs in O50Is. He now has exactly 1000 runs, at 71. 43.* Mace scored two consecutive 100s on the tour, and now has 5 at this level. No one else has more than 3. There have been 37 centuries scored in O50Is.* Parak Ananta (USA) became the first wicket-keeper to take 50 dismissals in O50Is. He now has 51, which is an amazing 20 more than the next man on the list (Wales Over 50s Cricket' Steve Powell). (Incidentally, the highest wicket-taker, Stephen Foster, has 45 wickets.)* Ananta also became the most-capped player in all O50Is, playing his 35th game on the tour. Next on the list is England's Sean Cooper (33), followed by 4 Welshmen.* After a great start to his international career on the tour, Australia's Andrew Kratzmann averages 91.00 with the bat, the highest average for anyone who has scored 200+ runs.* There have been 6 teams scores of 310 or more in O50Is. Australia scored 3 of these on this tour.* In the IMC Player Rankings, Mace moves up to 3rd place and Kratzmann shoots into the top 5.
